Professional liability insurance:<\/strong>
The professional liability insurance is with ERGO Versicherung AG, Victoriaplatz 1, 40198 D\u00fcsseldorf. There is worldwide insurance cover insofar as the insured activities are not carried out through law firms and offices outside Germany. The office in Poland is an exception to this rule; item 4.1 of Annex F 2009 does not apply here. Partnership companies with limited professional liability are obliged by the Federal Lawyers’ Act to maintain a professional liability insurance with a minimum insurance sum of EUR 2.5 million for each insured event. Under the Federal Lawyers’ Act, lawyers are obliged to maintain a professional liability insurance with a minimum insurance sum of EUR 250,000. Details can be found in \u00a7 51 and \u00a7 51a BRAO. Tax consultants are obliged to maintain professional liability insurance on the basis of the Tax Consultant Regulations (Part 2 of the Tax Consultant Act).<\/p>
