TIGGES goes Green Lunch & Learn: What are organic foods?

.

As part of our initiative, TIGGES goes Green, we recently held an inspiring internal Lunch & Learn training session. TIGGES Counsel Gisela Hebrant, delivered an engaging presentation exploring the question, "What are organic foods?". In her talk, she introduced the legal foundations of the EU Organic Regulation. Many of us have wondered what exactly the "organic" label stands for and how to navigate the maze of organic certifications.

It was enlightening for everyone to learn about the strict requirements and guidelines behind the certification of organic products. Gisela Hebrant clearly explained the legal framework and highlighted the crucial role that sustainability and environmental protection play in the labeling of organic foods. A heartfelt thank you to Gisela Hebrant for these fascinating and informative insights!

With the TIGGES goes Green initiative, we aim to promote more sustainability in our daily work. In addition to training sessions like this one, we are implementing further internal measures to make our work more environmentally friendly. Education and awareness of sustainable topics are essential components of our strategy, and formats like Lunch & Learn goes GREEN make a valuable contribution to this effort.

We look forward to the next steps on our sustainability journey at TIGGES!
