German companies are benefiting from Poland’s rise. In the first half of 2024, Germany exported more goods to Poland than to China. The country on the Vistula has been very popular with SME investors for many years anyway.
European funding is helping Poland to invest in important areas for the future – for example in the energy sector and new storage technologies. In terms of economic power, no other country in NATO spends as much on defense as Poland.
