At this year’s VDV Academy Rail Damage Workshop in Frankfurt, Klaus-Peter Langenkamp and Dr. Frank Wilting from the TIGGES Rail competence team had the opportunity to give around 60 participants an insight into the “Contract on the General Use of Freight Wagons (GCU)”. They presented typical cases of damage with a focus on the GCU and their legal challenges using practical examples.
The two-day workshop organized by the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV), the VDV Academy and DVA (Deutsche Verkehrs-Assekuranz) with numerous experts from the fields of law and insurance provided a valuable platform for the exchange of information on current topics relating to claims in rail transport. We are already looking forward to the next event!
