Düsseldorf, August 04, 2023 – Alstom, a leading manufacturer of rail vehicles and systems, and RAILPOOL, one of Europe’s leading rail vehicle leasing companies, have signed a contract for 50 Traxx 3 MS multi-system locomotives. The order is worth up to 260 million euros and will contribute to the expansion of RAILPOOL’s presence in Europe and in France in particular.
The Traxx universal locomotives, which are suitable for both freight and passenger trains, will be used in eight countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg and Poland.
