This year, for the first time, we opened the doors of our law firm to the participants of Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day. We were particularly pleased that we were quickly fully booked and were able to welcome a total of 13 motivated pupils who wanted to find out more about the profession of a legal assistant – 6 boys and 7 girls aged between 14 and 16 took part.
In two groups, we made our way directly to the local court and the higher regional court in Düsseldorf in the morning to experience hearings live as spectators. It was exciting for everyone – and very realistic – to see how the law is applied in practice and how a trial is conducted.
Back at the law firm, senior partner Klaus-Peter Langenkamp, office manager Maximilian Kulesza, LL.M. and legal specialist Jessica Bogucka awaited the groups to tell them about their day-to-day work in a law firm and to share interesting facts about the Refa training – definitely a profession with a future, everyone agreed! And of course there was plenty of time for questions and discussions as well as refreshments such as pizza.
A big thank you to all participants and employees for this successful day! It was great to have you there! We found the day & exchange with you super exciting and are already looking forward to next year!
And a special invitation to all interested parties: We are currently looking for motivated trainees who would like to join our team. Send us your application and become part of the TIGGES team!
