Last week, the European Economic Congress (EEC) took place in Katowice, with over 20,000 participants and 1,300 speakers, the largest event of its kind to date. Our law firm was the official partner of the German Lounge of the AHK Polska at the event. Our team, consisting of Dr. Dominik Wagner, Tomasz Baron, Kamil Twardowski and Dawid Marusczyk, experienced three intensive days full of exchange and innovation.
The focus was on the synergies between Germany and Poland. The “United in Resilience” panel in particular made it clear how crucial this partnership is for Europe’s economic position. Valuable practical impulses were provided in expert discussions on the topics of health and defense, which show that German-Polish cooperation is a key driver in central future fields: German-Polish cooperation is a key driver in central future fields.
In addition to professional highlights such as the “German Evening”, the congress offered space for numerous personal discussions and new networks. We draw a positive balance: the days in Katowice were characterized by new perspectives and strong points of contact.
Many thanks to the AHK Polska for the excellent organization of this impressive presentation!
