The AHV NRW webinar “AHV Focus: Law and sales in Europe using the example of Poland” took place recently. In this webinar, the speakers from our Poland competence team highlighted the opportunities and challenges of the Polish market.
- Dr. Dominik Wagner, LL.M., EMBA highlighted Poland’s potential as a business location and emphasized the increasing importance of the country, particularly in connection with nearshoring for German companies. Poland has developed into a dynamic and promising market in recent years.
- Tomasz Baron, LL.M. from our branch in Katowice discussed the various sales strategies, including direct sales, the use of sales representatives and the establishment of a sales company, and explained the legal particularities.
- Finally, Kamil Twardowski, LL.M. (Heidelberg), also from our office in Katowice, discussed important security mechanisms that must be observed when trading with Polish business partners, such as submission to execution and bank guarantees.
The lively Q&A session showed the great interest of the participants and valuable recommendations for action and experience were shared. Special thanks go to Andreas Mühlberg, Managing Director of AHV NRW, for his excellent moderation.
