Area of Specialisation

Sven Plata has been a lawyer at TIGGES since 2024. His legal practice focuses on public and European law as well as all legal issues relating to the transport industry, in particular rail law. This also includes railway regulatory law. Mr Plata also advises Polish-speaking clients on German law.

  • Other Fields of Activity

    In addition to his practical work at TIGGES, Sven Plata also specialises in legal history. He is currently working on a dissertation project on the Franco-German history of commercial law.

  • CV

    Sven Plata completed his law studies with a focus on public law from 2016 in Düsseldorf, where he also completed his legal clerkship from 2022. He already gained experience at TIGGES during this time in 2023 and worked in our law firm on railway law mandates, among other things. Further stations took him to the Federal Network Agency and the Federal Audit Office in Bonn. At both authorities, Mr Plata was primarily involved in European law issues.
