North Rhine-Westphalia is a central logistics hub in Europe and is asserting itself as a central transshipment point for international flows of goods and as a hotspot for the logistics industry in Europe with optimal location conditions. It is important for foreign transport companies wishing to locate in NRW to familiarize themselves with the relevant legal framework at an early stage.
For this reason, the TIGGES Competence Team Transport & Logistics together with NRW.Global Business has published a FAQ brochure on North Rhine-Westphalia as a logistics location. On 16 pages, the brochure answers all important questions relating to legal form, permits and labor law requirements and highlights the changes brought about by the EU mobility package.
In cooperation with the local chambers of commerce, the brochure was published not only in German and English, but also in Polish, Russian, Lithuanian and Latvian.
