Kamil Twardowski, LL.M., a member of our German-Polish competence team at the TIGGES branch office in Katowice, took part as a speaker in the“FOCUS ON GERMANY” event organized by the AHK Polska at the Podkarpackie Centrum Innowacji in Rzeszów. In his presentation on “Legal and tax specifics: What should you prepare for when expanding to the German market?” he highlighted important aspects for setting up a business in Germany and the biggest legal and tax differences.
Germany has long been Poland’s most important trading partner. And since the first half of 2024, Poland has even been Germany’s fourth largest trading partner – even ahead of China! This shows how intensive the cooperation between our countries is becoming and how many new areas of cooperation are emerging. The new government’s announced investments in Germany in particular are arousing great interest among Polish entrepreneurs.
For this very reason, our colleague Kamil Twardowski was very pleased to be able to present the following topics to Polish entrepreneurs:
- How do you enter the German market?
- What are the most important legal and tax aspects?
- What mistakes should you avoid at all costs and what do you need to be aware of?
Because without the right preparation, it is difficult to be successful in a new market.
Many thanks for the great organization to the entire AHK Polska team.
