Düsseldorf, October 31, 2025 – TIGGES has provided comprehensive legal advice to the European real estate developer VGP on the acquisition of the Kabel Premium Pulp & Paper GmbH plant site in Hagen.
VGP, a leading owner, operator and developer of high-quality logistics and production properties as well as a provider of renewable energy solutions, plans to gradually build a modern business and industrial park on the approximately 280,000 m² site. Companies from the production, light industrial and logistics sectors will be located on the site, which is only around 20 minutes from Dortmund city center.
The project marks VGP’s first property acquisition in North Rhine-Westphalia and underlines the strategic importance of the region for the company’s further growth. The TIGGES team advised on the legal structuring of the acquisition, the contract negotiations and the real estate due diligence.
TIGGES has been advising VGP for many years on real estate transactions and the drafting of rental agreements in Germany and regularly provides support in the legal implementation of projects in the company’s own logistics parks.
